Most of my attention has been focused on teaching Ceramics and Jewelry at Topeka West High School. Teaching serves as inspiration for developing the content which I facilitate.  The opportunity to research what I teach, forces my mind to remain active, keep ideas fresh and continually ask new questions. This in return, keeps the content I facilitate new and exciting.  I believe there is nothing more debilitating in a classroom than structural fatigue. Where the same ideas are presented year over year without evaluating what will be done to make them more engaging, exciting and most importantly, relevant. It is a very rewarding lifestyle, when looked at from the right perspective.
